Dropping a curriculum mid-year is not quitting. It Dropping a curriculum mid-year is not quitting. It is discernment. So many moms collapse under the weight of yes. Yes to one more curriculum. Yes to the co-op. Yes to finishing the thing because we paid for it. Then November comes. And the joy is gone. Here is your permission slip, mama: >> I do not need to buy another curriculum this year. >> We are dropping this program. It is not working for our family. >> Thank you, but we are not joining the co-op this semester. >> We paid for it, and we are still allowed to stop using it. That last one is the hardest. Money feels like a covenant. It is not. Stewardship sometimes means cutting losses so your children get a present mother instead of a frustrated one. You were called to disciple your children. You were not called to complete every workbook on your shelf. 🤍 What is one thing you have been given permission, today, to set down?
