The Pinterest-worthy morning basket. And somehow, still standing with her back to the table. Preparation can become the most acceptable form of avoidance we know. It looks like faithfulness. It feels like love. But sometimes the planner in our hand is the very thing keeping us from the chair right behind us. Charlotte Mason called the mother a facilitator and inspirer. Not a performer.
