This week I received a hard diagnosis… My liver This week I received a hard diagnosis… My liver is enlarged, inflamed, and crying out for help. After years of pushing through deadlines, homeschooling, ministry, conferences, and caregiving… my body is asking me to pause. To heal. So, I’m going back to my roots. Before I became a homeschool blogger, I was a certified health coach. And this week, those skills came back to life—resurrected with purpose. I’ve been pouring my heart into researching and prayerfully creating a faith-filled healing protocol that helps women—especially moms like us—care for our livers, restore our energy, and align our bodies with God’s rhythms of rest and renewal. Today, I made this batch of chia pudding jars to prep for the week ahead. Full of omega-3s, fiber, minerals, and topped with healing granola and blueberries, they are simple… nourishing… and so delicious. Saturday is my resting day. Sunday is my prepping day. Every day is an act of worship to the One who created us for His glory. “She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” – Proverbs 31:27 Prepping food and caring for ourselves is ministry and worship, too. This is how we love our homes well—by first loving and honoring the temple God gave us. We can’t neglect ourselves. I believe God has given us everything we need for healing in the Garden of Eden. This isn’t just about work—it’s about life training. Hadassah and Ariella have been by my side as my conference assistants and travel companions, and through every trip, they are learning invaluable skills: ✅ Adaptability – Navigating new cities, schedules, and unexpected changes. ✅ Confidence – Meeting new people, speaking with adults, and managing responsibilities. ✅ Time Management – Balancing work, learning, and fun while on the road. ✅ Communication & Hospitality – Engaging with families, helping at our booth, and sharing our passion for homeschooling. ✅ Cultural Awareness – Experiencing different places, foods, and regional traditions firsthand. Travel itself is an education. From exploring historic sites to discovering new cafés, trails, and parks, every destination adds a layer of learning and adventure to our lives. It’s one thing to read about the world—it’s another to step into it. 🌍 This week, we had the chance to explore Greenville, SC, and absolutely fell in love with Falls Park. 🌿✨ What a beautiful place to take a break, breathe in God’s creation, and make special memories together! Nature study isn’t just a subject in our homeschool; it’s an invitation to slow down, observe, and marvel at the handiwork of our Creator. There’s something powerful about stepping outside… 🌊 Hearing the rhythmic crash of waves or the trickling of a creek 🎶 Listening to the joyful songs of birds 🌸 Smelling the fragrance of blooming flowers ☀️ Feeling the warmth of the sun on our skin 🍃 Seeing the intricate details of a single leaf Every part of creation whispers His name. Every detail speaks of His perfect design. 📖 “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” — Romans 1:20 When my children pause to watch a bee collecting nectar, examine the veins of a leaf, or stand in awe of a starry sky, I see faith being built. I see hearts drawn closer to the One who made it all. So today, take a moment. Step outside. Breathe deeply. Look around.
