Before there were nations… before there was sin… before there was even a covenant— there was Shabbat. A day God blessed. A day He sanctified. Not because the apostles changed it. But because man did. And in losing it, we lost something precious: God’s rhythm of rest, trust, and presence. I spent two years researching Shabbat for my Master’s thesis in Biblical Studies—and I can honestly say this: Shabbat has been one of the greatest gifts God has given my life. It’s not legalism. It’s liberation. It’s not a burden.
