A few years ago, Ryan and I started to dream about building our dream life, what we called our Beyond Blessed Life.
Our dream life would be something like... We want to have God and our family always as our priority, be detached from material things, have plenty of time to truly love, enjoy, and teach our godly values to our kids, work together from anywhere anytime, have financial freedom and obviously be debt-free, and be always available to go anywhere God calls us without anything holding us back. Our Beyond Blessed Life is Holy Spirit led and purpose-driven.
Well, this didn’t happen overnight. We’ve been intentionally making steps towards building our Beyond Blessed Life and it started by creating our Beyond Blessed Life Planner!! This became our daily tool to stay focused and on track into putting all of these things into place in our life. The coolest thing is that, once we started to share our vision and our planner with others, 2000+ people bought our planner and joined us on this journey!! Today we’re living our dream life and you can live yours too!

What would your dream life look like??

Feels like it was yesterday when I got hold of our first Christian Heroes Then and Now book and I was hooked at first reading! These books have been inspiring our lives and shaping our family for the past seven years, since we started homeschooling. Every biography teaches us new lessons and make us dream new dreams, bigger dreams... Dreams of impacting the world somehow with the gifts and talents God has given us. This past summer, we read a big pile of these biographies and one of these in particular, set my heart on fire like no other - the story of George Muller, a man of radical prayer life and unshakable faith who saved over 10000 orphans from the streets of Bristol. This man, whom I long to meet one day in Heaven, has been a daily inspiration in my life since then. He recorded in his journal every prayer and answer to prayer he prayed and received, every miracle of provision God has given him throughout the years. I pray daily that God will give me the faith of George Muller and the intimacy of walking with God like Mr. Muller did. Lord, give us the faith to move mountains! Shake us, revive us, refresh us! Help us move out of our comfort zone and into the faith zone where we can see the lame walk, the deaf hear, the dead come back to life, and the lost get saved.
If you want to learn the top 3 lessons I learned from George Muller, head to the blog at www.theycallmeblessed.org and read my last blog post plus enter for a chance to win 5 of these inspiring and life-changing books from @bengebooks 📚

Woohoo!! 🙌🏼 After 18 days in Williamsburg exploring all we could about the birth of the USA, first English settlements, revolutionary war and civil war, we started making our way down south to see our friends Mike and Carlie @christianmarriageadventures in Myrtle Beach. Then, we drove to Savannah to hang out with Garrit and Yvette @schoolhouse_rocked where we recorded a podcast interview. We feel so encouraged and refreshed after spending time with these two amazing couples!! What a blessing to spend time with like-minded friends!! Last night we arrived in Florida finally for a two months season with family and friends, meeting up personally with members of our online community and encouraging families.
We’re blown away by how beautiful the Tomoka State Park where we’re staying! It’s so gorgeous and quiet. There is so much history in that place and they also have a Jr. Ranger program!! The kids have learned a lot already. We’re so happy to be back here and the weather is just perfect!! Of course, we went to the beach right away. Pictures to follow. 😉

Instagram post 2170846700716397893_220465979 🌿A SEASON FOR EVERYTHING🌿
And in all seasons, good or bad, God is there holding our hands, teaching us new lessons, and comforting our hearts. While I thought and declared in my last post this being my season of joy, our hearts were not prepared for the news and events that have happened these past weeks. In just a few days we went from receiving the news that we were expecting after have gone through almost 11 months of complications and five hospitalizations since our miscarriage last year to hear that not only I was having a high risk pregnancy but that there was no hope and we were soon to lose another baby. Nothing ever prepares us fully for that - nothing! So, if you have been wondering where we’ve been and why I haven’t been posting lately, now you know why. I’ve been mostly in bed rest since we arrived in Williamsburg 3 weeks ago. The very few times I was out with Ryan the kids I was in much pain cramping after. Sadly, we lost our baby this past Sunday after trying everything we could to save this pregnancy. We’re thankful to my friend Anna Socier for finding us a great doctor to help us in such a stressful and difficult time, for the kindness of complete strangers who provided us with words of comfort and a meal tonight, for our campground’s staff who extended our stay for a few days without charging us to allow me a few days to recover before hitting the road again and for the prayers of our friends and relatives. Mostly, I’m thankful for an amazing loving husband and for my beautiful children, who have been grieving alongside me. In all things, they trusted God for a miracle and comforted me when the miracle didn’t happen. After all, there is a season for all things and I know that even in the saddest seasons of my life, my God never left me and He never will. His plan for me is still good! He will again turn my sorrow into joy. He did it once and He will do it again. #trustgod #pregnancyloss #miscarriage #stillblessed #hiswillnotmine #theycallmeblessed #fulltimefamily #homeschoolmom
