One of the reasons I love homeschooling so much is that our afternoons are free to be outside and explore God’s creation. Last week, my friend Melanie and her family took us to this beautiful waterfall not far from us. Are there any forests, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, etc near you that you haven’t explored yet??

BLESSED & BEAUTIFUL
Ok. This is a week of firsts here. I don’t usually put makeup on because as a homeschool mom and entrepreneur I am super busy and who has time for makeup, right? But my friend Bekki introduced me to this makeup that is AMAZING, nothing like I have ever used before, natural, light and so much more affordable! So I fell in line with it and I am amazed by how easy I can put it on and look 10x better in 5 minutes! Isn’t it shocking?!! This is the perfect makeup for busy moms!!
Friends, I did this make up without my glasses on. Totally shooting in the dark. 🤓 AND IT LOOKS AMAZING!! I feel like a million bucks now.
And I want you to feel like a million bucks too without spending much at all!

No, I’m not going to brag about my kids.
One year ago, I launched The Homeschool Sisterhood, a Charlotte Mason inspired membership for homeschool moms who want to teach from rest. Today, we have over 300 families from all over the world! We offer monthly habit training, masterclasses, family workshops, book clubs for moms, kids and teens, we bring in guest speakers and we host story times for littles with fun crafts ideas. It is amazing!! It’s like co-op without leaving the house! The best part is that everything we do is Christ-centered and life-transforming.
To celebrate our 1st anniversary, we put together an online Summer Camp and a VBS from Answer in Genesis this whole week. We do science, writing, music, Hebrew, ASL, arts... you name it!
Today, we had a pour paint lesson with our founding member and art teacher Dawn Gasparini - it was AMAZING!!
I’m so proud of our members! I’m so thankful to Marlene Graham, also our founding member, who worked really hard to coordinate this while I was on vacation!! So much love and dedication from these moms poured into our sisterhood!!!

CONFESSION TIME 🏖
Ryan and I grew up in the Southern Hemisphere, by the ocean, we’re beach people! We love the sound of the waves, white sands, and coconut trees. 🌴 I told my husband before getting married that he could cancel his immigration process to Canada because I would never move to a cold place away from the beach! Five years into our marriage, where do we end up? Yep! 🇨🇦 🤦🏻‍♀️Never say never. Lesson learned, I know. But here is the biggest confession I want to make. When we moved here, we laughed every time someone called going to the lake “going to the beach”. True story. We couldn’t accept the concept of calling a place that wasn’t the ocean and didn’t have sand, a beach. Nope, fresh water and rocks did not equal a beach to us. Well, things have changed a lot in these past 9 years. We have become Canadians in more ways than we ever though we would. Now, we happily call going to the lake “going to the beach”.
