Day 3: Puerto Vallarta. I thought Cabo was amazing Day 3: Puerto Vallarta. I thought Cabo was amazing, but Puerto Vallarta is now my favorite!
Cabo, you were absolutely unforgettable. ☀️🌊🇲🇽 Ye Cabo, you were absolutely unforgettable. ☀️🌊🇲🇽
Yesterday felt like one of those “is this really our life?” kind of days.
Cruising out to El Arco at Land’s End, turquoise water all around us, the sun shining, laughing until our cheeks hurt, kissing in front of the most beautiful view… and doing it all with my favorite person. ❤️
After all the changes, moves, plans that didn’t go the way we expected, and the many ways God has redirected our steps over the past year, I’m especially grateful for moments like this.
Sometimes you just have to stop, look around, and thank God for the gift of being right where you are.
Our first cruise together, our first time in Cabo, and a memory I know we’ll be talking about for years. 🥹
And yes… the clear boat was SO much fun! 😂
Cabo San Lucas, you have a little piece of our hearts now. 💙

Beautiful story! This church began its constructio Beautiful story! This church began its construction in 1856 and ran out of money. The Jewish community raised money to complete it and in gratitude, they built very top windows with stars of David.
MAMA, GO OUT AND PLAY. 🌿 Charlotte Mason understo MAMA, GO OUT AND PLAY. 🌿
Charlotte Mason understood something we mothers so easily forget:
We need to be nourished, too.
She wrote:
“Let the mother go out to play!”
The Charlotte Mason community often calls this idea Mother Culture—the practice of continuing to nourish our own minds, spirits, and lives while we pour into our children.
For me right now?
I rebound. 😂
Morning and afternoon, right there on our deck, with worship music playing, fresh air in my lungs, and God’s creation all around me.
And you know what?
I feel ALIVE.
Sometimes caring for ourselves isn’t about escaping motherhood.
It’s about doing something that makes us joyful, energetic, curious, creative, and fully alive.
Mama, you are not just the person who makes sure everyone else is okay.
You’re a person, too. ❤️
So I want to know:
How do YOU play?
What makes you feel joyful and energized?
Go outside. Read the book. Dance. Garden. Walk. Paint. Sing. Jump.
Whatever it is…
GO PLAY, MAMA. 🌿💕

Our Artza Box arrived, and this one feels like it Our Artza Box arrived, and this one feels like it was made for our family. 🤎🇮🇱
A little piece of the Holy Land delivered right to our table!
This box is filled with treasures inspired by Israel and its rich biblical history—from a beautiful biblical mosaic crafted by Israeli youth with special abilities, to za’atar, a Mediterranean artisan spice blend, a little bottle of sesame, and the most beautiful Jerusalem half-shekel replica.
There’s even a beautiful book about Esther and the Persian Empire, a fragrance diffuser, and a gorgeous mug with the blessing from Psalm 29:11:
“The LORD blesses His people with peace.”
As someone who has been so deeply impacted by our time living in Israel, I love finding ways to keep those memories alive in our home—and even better when those little reminders also introduce our children to the history, culture, art, and biblical world of the places we’ve studied.
This was such a fun box to open. Every item has a story, and I can already see several of these making their way into our homeschool and our family conversations. 📖✨
Come unbox the Holy Land with me! 🇮🇱
