Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, not that I think that one day is enough to be thankful because it is not, for sure! But it does bring our minds back to focus on all we have to be thankful for in the midst of the crazy busyness in our lives.
The Bible teaches us to be thankful in all circumstances, to give thanks all the time it’s God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. When you are thankful for what you have then you become also much happier!
This is the season to especially focus on teaching our children to be content. They have so much to be thankful for! The best way for us to teach them is by example, no questions about it! Also by providing lively and fun lesson and opportunities for them to learn about thankfulness.
