Standing on the South Rim again, and somehow it st Standing on the South Rim again, and somehow it still takes our breath away. The vastness, the colors, the quiet—every layer of this place whispers the glory of God. No picture can capture it, no words can fully explain it… it simply points back to the Creator.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” — Psalm 19:1
Walking here with our children, watching their eyes widen in wonder, reminds us why we chose this life of homeschooling. Not just for academics, but for moments like these—where learning comes alive through awe, gratitude, and the undeniable beauty of God’s creation.
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.” — Romans 1:20
This is our second time here, and still, we are in awe. Still humbled. Still reminded of how small we are… and how גדול (great) our God is.
“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!” — Psalm 8:1
Grateful for these memories. Grateful for this journey. Grateful for a God who reveals Himself so clearly in the beauty around us.

I felt truly blessed to share coffee with Cindy Fu I felt truly blessed to share coffee with Cindy Fuller Duell this afternoon in Tucson! The Lord brought us together in a prayer group at a Homeschool Freedom conference in St. Louis in 2021 and I had the privilege of speaking at AFHE in 2023. I’m deeply grateful for the incredible homeschool community and friends God has graciously given me across this nation. We’re one big family passionate about Yeshua and home education.☕️ 🌵By the way, I’m so excited to hear about all the awesome speakers at AFHE this year! Heidi St. John, Zan Tyler, Nicki Truesdell, and so many others! If you are in Arizona, it is a must attend conference.
There is always a first time.😩 This morning, I lef There is always a first time.😩
This morning, I left the campground a bit ahead of Ryan to try touring the USS Alabama with Ben. The girls and the dogs stayed in the truck with Ryan. A few minutes into the trip, Ryan notice that one of the RV wheels was smoking! 😱 Thank God I had to stop to pump gas and when he called me I was just 35 minutes away and was able to turn around. Thankfully, he broke down on the side of the road still in Destin and being the super smart natural mechanic he is, he was able to remove the broken and burned wheel bearings, go buy new parts and has been working hard to fix it for the past four hours. All of that under a lot of prayer for God’s grace and guidance! 🙏🏼 This man deserves a trophy! 🏆 Say a prayer for him.
